Are you heavier than you look?

If you are not overweight, but feel that you are far too heavy for you height and current weight / build. Then the extra weight may be on the inside. What I am taking about here is a very common condition called “constipation.” Don’t get confused, constipation is also common in overweight individuals. It just that, I see a lot people who weigh them-self’s all the time at the gym, and they really do seem heavier than what they really are.

Having backed up large intestine will not only make you appear heavier on the scales, but can cause all sorts of problems. The two main problems are toxicity and brain fog. Constipation is always linked with dehydration. So when the body is dehydrated it will suck as much water as possible from your stools, in your colon, to keep your brain running.

Therefore, making your stools hard and compacted, and making them hard to pass through. These compacted stools will then sit in your large intestine (colon), getting more and more toxic day-by-day. Another common sign of constipation is not feeling like eating, but being hungry. This is because the digestive system is so backed up it can’t take in any more food, but the body is still needs nutrients from food to survive.

So the one thing anyone can do easily to overcome constipation is drink the correct type and amount of water.

It is essential to drink pure water. We would only last a few days without it. Being dehydrated by only 5% can be critical to your health. Also the quality of the water you drink will have an effect on your ability to think, digest food, detox and move effectively, so ideally drink bottled water and the best ones to drink include: Evian, Vital, Highland Spring and Fiji or use a top quality water filter in your home if you can get one. The right amount of water to drink is dependent on your bodyweight.

To work out the amount of water you need to drink on a daily basis in litres, from your bodyweight in kilos is done like this.

Eg: for someone who weights 80kg:

80kg x0.033 = 2.64 litres of pure water a day (minimum)

So an 80kg individual would need a minimum of 2.64 litres of pure water per day.

If the day has been hot and you have been sweating a lot during the day, drank a lot of alcohol the night before, had a stomach bug or lost a lot of fluids another way then you will need more than your minimum amount per day.

Just doing this will help ease constipation, as well as, having many other healing benefits on the body!

Give it a go,

Joe
